Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of My Hot Lead (“we”, “us”, “the Service”), a software-as-a-service platform for B2B prospecting and email outreach. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
My Hot Lead provides tools to discover business data, manage contacts, generate outreach content with the help of artificial intelligence, and send emails through integrations with third-party email providers (for example, using your own Brevo account and API key). Features, limits, and pricing may change; we will use reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes.
2. Credits
The Service uses a credit-based system. Credit rules are as follows:
- Subscription credits: Credits included in your subscription reset each billing month. They do not roll over or accumulate from one period to the next.
- Pack credits: Credits purchased through one-off credit packs are valid for six (6) months from the date of purchase. If they are not used within that period, they will be removed from your account.
- Google Maps extraction: Each scrape uses one API request that may return many businesses; you must have at least twenty (20) credits available before a scrape starts. You are then charged one (1) credit per business that is newly saved to your database (duplicates that only refresh existing records are not charged).
- Email creation and sending: Creating and sending one (1) email costs one (1) credit.
- Full pipeline per new company: From first-time extraction through email delivery, a typical cost is two (2) credits per new company (subject to the activities you actually perform in the platform).
We may adjust credit pricing, bundles, or mechanics with reasonable notice. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance unless applicable law requires otherwise.
3. Database limits
Each account may store up to fifty thousand (50,000) business records at most. If you approach or reach this limit, you may need to delete data or contact us for options before adding further records.
4. Your account
You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction. One person or entity should not share login access in a way that circumvents subscription or security controls.
5. Acceptable and responsible use
My Hot Lead is a B2B prospecting tool. You agree to use the Service only in compliance with all laws and regulations that apply to you, including—where relevant—data protection laws (such as the GDPR in the European Union), anti-spam rules, marketing rules, and the terms of third-party platforms whose data or APIs you interact with.
My Hot Lead is not responsible for how you use data obtained through the Service. You alone are responsible for ensuring that your collection, processing, and use of personal data and business contacts are lawful, including obtaining any required consents, honouring opt-outs and suppression lists, and providing required notices to data subjects.
You must not use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes, including harassment, malware distribution, or impersonation. We may suspend or terminate access for violations.
6. Third-party services
The Service relies on third parties (e.g. email delivery providers, AI providers, payment processors). Their terms and privacy policies apply to your use of those services. We are not liable for outages, changes, or actions of third parties outside our reasonable control.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, its branding, and its software are owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service during your subscription or trial in accordance with these Terms. You retain rights to content you upload; you grant us a licence to host and process that content as needed to operate the Service.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is” to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or specific commercial results (e.g. open rates, replies, or deliverability). To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim implied warranties and exclude liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability shall be limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve (12) months before the claim (or, if less, the amount actually paid).
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription according to the billing flows we provide. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, non-payment, or risk to the Service or other users. Provisions that by nature should survive (e.g. liability limits, governing law) will survive termination.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice. Continued use after the effective date may constitute acceptance of the changes.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer protections in your country say otherwise. Subject to mandatory provisions, the courts of Zaragoza, Spain shall have jurisdiction.
